Welcome to the next installment of ‘Advertising Made Easy’ with Buzz Online. Today we are going to talk about how to create an engaging post on Facebook.
It is true that anyone can make a post, but it takes more than you think to get people engaged.
It has been found that if you keep the following in mind when creating your post, you are more likely to catch people’s attention and get them engaged.
~ Use Visuals – People in today’s world are exposed to so much digitally that it takes a well-planned photo or video to catch the user’s eye long enough for them to want to read the text. If the picture doesn’t pop, your customers will just scroll past.
~ Don’t over complicate the text – When writing a post, you should make the text short, sweet, & to the point. Keep in mind that the average American reads at a 2nd grade level & if it takes more than a few seconds to understand what you are saying, people will move on. Try to keep the text simple & no more than 2-3 sentences.
~ Include a Call To Action or CTA – Make sure to include what you want people to do. It doesn’t matter whether you want them to like the post or call for a free quote, tell them. Otherwise, they will just keep scrolling.
When creating your next post keep in mind that when it comes to social media, the goal is to have your potential customers interact with you as much as possible. It has been found that the more people interact with your page, the more loyal they are to your brand, and are more likely to remember you when they need your service.
